Designed to enable safe and easy manoeuvring and help avoid minor yet costly dents, MetaSystem's parking aid range offer a number of flexible systems to suit most models of vehicle. Minor yet costly damage to bodywork can be avoided with a parking system.
How the systems work
Utilising the latest in ultrasonic technology, the MetaSystem parking aids create a detection zone up to 1.5 metres from the bumper to detect obstacles.
Rear sensors are automatically engaged when reverse gear is selected. When the sensors begin to detect an obstacle, the driver will hear an audible beep from the sound speaker discretely fitted inside the vehicle. The frequency of the beeps increases as the obstacle becomes closer until a constant tone sounds when the obstacle is 30cm away.
