MetaSystem, Europe's leading supplier of vehicle security, safety and information systems, has boosted its existing High Performance plip upgrade range with the introduction of a range of manufacturer specific alarm systems.

The new systems are designed to interface with the vehicle's Canbus protocol and standard fit immobiliser. Systems available include the HPB3 designed for Citroen vehicles, the HPB5 specifically for Mercedes vehicles and the HPB6 for Volkswagen and Skoda vehicles. Each system provides a tailor made fit for ease of installation.

All systems are manufactured to the highest quality standards and offer the same high specification features as MetaSystem's Thatcham approved HPBT alarm upgrade. Standard features include visual signalling, a flashing LED, ignition hotwire protection and a battery back up facility. Mechanical side and rear door, bonnet and boot sensors shield peripheral entry points, ensuring maximum protection of the vehicle's contents.

Added flexibility comes in an emergency override code that can be customised plus ultrasonic sensors and a voltage drop sensor, which can be deselected, enabling the sunroof or windows to remain open while the car is occupied. Total window closure in one remote operation highlights the simplicity of operation of MetaSystem's new HPB alarm range, which is vibration and water resistant.

Optional features include an emergency electronic override key and safety locking - a special safety device that automatically locks the doors whilst the vehicle is on the move - is another highly innovative feature, not typically associated with aftermarket products.

Designed to integrate with the manufacturer's OE security system, MetaSystem's HPB alarms use the vehicle's existing transmitter to maintain key features such as remote central door locking as well as operate the alarm.
